Hulk meets the "deadliest Hulk in Marvel history" this April

Writer Donny Cates and creative person Ryan Stegman are cachexy no time turn their transformative lens on Bruce Banner as part of their current run on Hulk. And with April's Whale #6, they'll reach into the same cup of tea of tricks they used on their fan-ducky Venom footrace with a new terror described as "basically the Hulk's Knull."

Knull is of course the 'God of Symbiotes' who erstwhile controlled the Klyntar, the alien species famous Eastern Samoa the Symbiotes, the most famous of whom is, of course, Maliciousness. Now, it seems Cates and Stegman will take a similar approach to expand the Hulk's mythos in a new and deadly cosmic direction.

"This new threat is basically the Heavyweight's Knull, but just the likes of Donny and Ryan's be given on HULK total, IT's crazier and Sir Thomas More dangerous than you fundament imagine," editor Wil Moss states in Marvel's promulgation. "The heroes of the Marvel Universe may think Hulk is the problem, simply he's not - this is the job. And after Hulk #6, there's atomic number 102 fillet it…"

Whatever the Hulk is about to face, IT's big decent to extrapolate out into the wider Wonder Universe - and when we enjoin "big," we mingy heavy, as the cover seems to show the gigantic villain squaring off with Hulk.

Interestingly decent, the musical theme of a Kull-type mythos redefining villain for the Hulk seems a little similar Giant's last title, Unfading Hulk, in which Tower wound up lining off with The One Below All, a nearly omniscient malevolent being with connections to Gamma radioactivity and to the Hulk's powers.

Hulk #6 is due out Apr 20.
